Meypack Series FTS

The FTS 600 gives a siftproof closure to paper sacks. The FTS-HD... closes paper sacks and seals the plastic inner liner with a hermetic heat seal. Due to the double folding, an efficient heat seal protection is achieved. The FTS-closure

(Fold, Tape, Seal) is state of the art in sack closing and meets today's user requirements. The optional tear strip or "strippable sack" versions allow end user and environmentally friendly packaging. The FTS-closure can be opened without tools and damage of the sack. Therefore contamination of the contents with shreds of paper is impossible and the sack is reclosable. Strippable sacks permit grading of the disposable sack material without any effort.

Meypack Series S-CH

MEYPACK offers continuous band sealers in a wide variety of performance ranges for safe hermetically tight closures of plastic sacks. The perfectly homogenous sealing with heater bars and continuously moving bands is done under pressure. On machines with water cooling bars the sealing seams are cooled down under pressure between the steel bands. This gives incomparable smooth seams. Otherwise, with the also possible air cooling the seams get wrinkled due to free shrinking. Further optional equipment fits the machines to difficult applications, e. g. dusty filling goods.

Meypack Series S-CH/S

MEYPACK offers continuous crimp sealers in four performance ranges for safe hermetically tight closures of paper bags with heat sensitive inner coating. The heating sections of S-CH/S...-machines consist of heater bars with automatic temperature control. This enables the user to run the machine constantly with a sealing process perfectly set to the bag and its coating. Further optional equipment enables the machines to handle difficult applications, e.g. dusty goods.

Meypack Series PT

The PT...series sack closing machines from MEYPACK offer a modular system for hermetically sealed closures on paper sacks with plastic inner liners or coatings. The PT-closure is a triple seal available in standard format or with an easy open feature.

With the traditional Standard closure (PT) the multi-layer outer is stitched, a heat sealed tape is applied over the stitch line and the PE inner liner is hermetically sealed. The tape prevents the ingress of insects and other forms of contamination.

With the easy open closure (PT-SOT, stitch over tape), the inner liner is hermetically sealed by heat and a crepe tape is applied over the sack top and stitched in position. The stitching can easily be removed by hand without the use of tools and without damage to the seal.

Dual machines offer the choice of standard or easy open closure on one machine frame. The unit is equipped with two sewing heads and two tape applicators, with one of each mounted at the infeed and discharge of the machine. Changing from one closure type to the other involves a simple adjustment and can be completed in a few minutes.

Meypack Series PTS

With the PTS...series sack closing machines MEYPACK offers equipment to close all kinds of pinch top sacks. The machines types PTS and PTS-HD... close pinch top sacks with pre-applied hot melt adhesive at the stepped end (flap). The machines type PT-GL apply several beads of hot melt adhesive to the non-coated flap during closing. With machines type PTS-HD... plastic inner liners or coatings are heat sealed hermetically also.

Meypack Series D95 HD

MEYPACK builds five versions of sack sewing machines. The vital part of all sewing systems is the swing needle sewing head DOBOY D 95. With the swinging needle principle the point of the needle follows an elliptical path moving at approximately the same speed as the sack being transported by the conveyor. This eliminates needle hole elongation and gives minimum risk of needle breakage. Further advantages of the swing needle principle are calm and smooth operation and less moving parts than with any conventional sewing head. The flattened sack top is guided by carrier chains on all machinest.
